This year was amazing! I just wish that the Wordly Wise mask would of never existed. I mean really. Otherwise this year was awesome i had so much fun doing the blog posts and reading books. I wish you were my sixth grade reading teacher too.

I think it will get better for Izzy as the days go along. According to the text, Izzy feels she is split in half. Her parents got divorced, every seven days she goes to a new house, and she is starting to feel alone in this world. I really hope she has more luck with her divorced parents new girlfriends and boyfriends.

I think Isabella will be torn between her black dad and white mom when her dad moves out. According to the text Izzy’s mom and dad got in such a big fight the dad decided to move out. I hope Izzy can still love them both the same way she did before.

I gave Hope in the Holler 5 stars because it was the best book club book i’ve ever read.

Wavie

Wavie was my favorite character because she was so nice to everyone she met.

When Wavie meets Gilbert

This was my favorite moment because it was so sweet to see them start to become friends.

I think that Gilbert is kind of stupid when he is around Wavie. According to the text, Gilbert asked Wavie if she planted the flowers. Then she said “ yes but I think nobody has noticed it’s only been two days.” Then Gilbert said “ yeah I know. Everybody knows everything in Convict Holler.” After that Wavie said “ then why did you ask me.” Lastly Gilbert said “ I don’t know. “ That conversation confused me so much I thought Gilbert had a good education and was smart when he went to school.

I think that Gilbert will not find her dad. According to the text, Gilbert has to return a favor to Wavie. So Wavie chose to have him find her daddy. Still I hope he does find her daddy someway or another.

I think life is hard for Wavie. According to the text, her mom and dad got divorced and her mom just died. when she went to her moms funeral she noticed an ld car sitting there the whole time. The author said when she was leaving with Mrs. Chipman the person in the car signaled them to stop. when they did they found out it was Wavie’s aunt. Who wanted to adopt her.

Saving endangered sea turtles by Kathryn Lasky tells a story about a sea turtle in trouble! The sea turtle got lost and stranded. Luckily for the sea turtle people found him. Then they took te sea turtle to the doctor to get help. When they took him to the doctor they thought he was dead but the doctor took a closer look and found he was alive. Then they took care of the turtle and he got saved.

Omar

Omar is my favorite charter because he is so so much like me.

When they meet with UN officer.

it was my favorite moment because they put a change on Omar and Hassan.

I think Omar is strong. According to the text, he puts up with ”tall Ali”, school, Hanssan, and extra things he has to do. I can’t believe he took the offer of getting extra water in the morning to learn english! Getting water tkes a lot of work there. I hope he continues with school.
